Coachella cool

Every year I get completely jealous when I see photos of the Coachella music festival in California. Cool people, trendy bands, fashion fun and lovely warm weather. Festivals over here are usually about the rain and mud in comparison. Hopefully one year I’ll get to go myself but for now, here are my favourite outfits from the event.

Fab summer dressing, love it!

Anyone going to any festivals this year?

  1. I usually go to Lollapalooza, but my boyfriend’s birthday in Vegas conflicts with the dates :( I’ve always wanted to go to Coachella! Lolla is in the middle of a city, which is fun, but I like how you’re smack dab in the middle of the desert at Coachella. I bet it’s amazing.

  2. Would love to go to a festival thisyear as I’ve not gone to one in some time! But no plans so far! Would love to see the DMB Caravan Fesitval in Atlantic City for sure… just not in the cards though. :)

  4. Nope.. would love to go to one ( but kinda gone off even attempting Glasto ).
As for clothing it would have to be the long skirt – can get the legs out if wanted and then hide them later. And also porta loo in denim shorts? nah.. just lift and go. :-D

  6. Could Kate Bosworth be any cooler? Love her! I am right down the road from Bonnaroo, but the rain and mud normally outweigh the roster :(
One dry, sunny summer I’ll catch the show!

  10. For those of you who haven’t been to the Palm Springs area, Coachella is wicked HOT! The hottest hot you can imagine and people drink and dehyrdrate themselves more and it sucks.

My husband and I thought of going, and my parents have a small “vacation” place near there and they said to be out all day, especially since I’m fair skinned, would be insane. Since I haven’t been, I can’t be sure, but I believe it’s quite a walk from where you park, and although green in your pictures, quite dusty…it’s the middle of the desert.

No thanks! Lollapalooza was awesome. I went to the first 2 or 3 shows. They used to hold them in Orange County/Irvine which is perfect weather! KROQ (popular Los Angeles radio station) still does their Weinie Roast here, another collection of bands.

  12. I don’t think I am a festival sort of gal, too many people, it can make me feel kind of claustrophobic. But I think there are a ton here.
I’ve always thought about going to the Hollywood Bowl in the summer, but it never seems to work out. It’s nice, you bring a bottle of wine and some eats and I think it would be a fun time.
