Catch up

The weekend started off well as I got a request from an agent to read my full manuscript yay! Cross all your fingers for me please :)

Then I woke up with a cold and sore throat and felt pretty miserable but I did drag myself out of the house to see Breaking Dawn at the cinema. I’m really glad I did because it cheered me up, I loved the film, it was so tense even though I knew what was coming, you could hear a pin drop in the cinema. The wedding was gorgeous too and Bella looked stunning. I think it might be my favourite of the films so far!

Sunday was a strange day. We had misty weather that made everything look murky and creepy. It actually reminded me of Forks in Twilight. It’s amazing how weather and setting can really affect mood. It was the kind of day you could have been stalked by a vampire but luckily I stayed in the warm house and curled up on the sofa instead.

This was the view outside my window:

As I felt too poorly to even open my computer, I missed my Sunday Songs post yesterday so here’s my selection for this week. I hope you enjoy!

Slow Moving Millie – Please let me get what I want

Inara George – It’s raining

Rebecca Ferguson – Nothing real but love

How were your weekends?
