I watched the Glee sectionals episode on Monday and it reminded me of why I heart Glee – yes it’s cheesy and silly but it’s also fun and heart warming. It makes you feel better about yourself and love. There’s so many positive messages mixed into the show and it never fails to cheer me up. Watching the cast sing the first original songs on the show I was very impressed, I loved them both but I have to say I emphasised most with this one ….

I think a lot of us feel different, feel like we don’t fit into a certain box and feel like people are laughing at us or putting us down but this song reminded me that you just need to rise above it, believe in your dreams and love yourself. There’s no such thing as being different - we’re all unique and you don’t have to follow the crowd, you should be proud of your uniqueness! We are pretty special guys 
I’ll admit sometimes when things get tough or think back to people who’ve treated me badly or hurt me, it does make me work harder to follow my dreams. The part in the song that makes me smile is ‘Cause I know one day you’ll be screamin’ my name
And I’ll just look away, that’s right - who hasn’t fantasised about making it big, looking good, feeling great and seeing that person who hurt you and just walking by, knowing you’ve made all your dreams come true desire them. Or maybe because of them.
So here’s some positive thinking today – follow those dreams, you can do it no matter what anyone says! See you on the bestseller list lol
