Hi everyone, I hope all your weekends are going well! Mine’s been chilled so far – a bit of shopping, curry eating and watching Easy A, which I really enjoyed!

Here are my picks of new music this week …

I have Meg and Dia’s first 2 albums, kind of moody, quirky rock and they’re back with a new EP, which the above song is off moving to a new indie pop sound. I’m loving the change.

I’ve never been into Belle & Sebastian before but I saw this moving up iTunes and I got sucked into its breezy catchy vibe.

I stumbled upon Girl in a Coma from Joan Jett’s website – they are signed to her label and I got their album ‘Trio b.c’ – good gritty girl rock.

I looked up the Easy A soundtrack after watching the film and found this song. They’re actually a British band that I hadn’t heard of before and I’m glad I found this great sing-along treat. And reminds me of the film
