Rain on the window

I’m writing this on the train into work. It’s grey and raining and droplets roll down the window as I stare out, not looking forward to my day at work and wishing for a change, for something I’m not entirely sure of.

Yesterday I had the day off work and went for some blood tests. I’ve been feeling really tired lately and im guessing it’s down to this commute but my doctor decided to check things out just in case. They took 4 tubes eek! My mum came with me as I’m a bit of a wimp when it comes to hospitals and we went shopping afterwards.

I made an in road in my summer present buying and got a pair of diamond stud earrings, supposidly half price yay! I love sone sparkle πŸ™‚ I was further cheered up by reading all the comments on Mondays post ‘this is me’, you’re all so sweet and supportive, it’s pretty cool to be part of the blogging world!! I know I need to count my blessings more and you help me so much to do that!

I hope the sun will come out soon figuratively and literally, and then maybe a rainbow will appear and lead the way to a brighter future.

Hugs and kisses

  1. Oh yay for the diamond earrings!!!!!!!! They can be such a great investment.

But Vicky, now I am worried about you girl. You know we have to make our physical and mental health the priority. And I think that you are in desperate need of change, if that’s what is popping in your mind when you see that your body is telling you something. I think a lot of us are trying to make changes, and sometimes it’s a collection of changes rather than one big one. Or a culmination of both. Hope it comes for you soon my Friend, you deserve happiness and joy.

      1. I hope so too, but at the same time I think every change/choice is a new adventure. Well at least I am trying to think that way. I always find I may not get what I wanted/expected, but I always get what I need.

  2. awwwww great post! I just hate the rain, especially as I’ve just went away and it was sunny! Damn u rain!! 😦

might as well get used to it, seeing as I’m planning on moving to Bonnie Scotland!! x

  3. Hope the bloods are ok and it’s nothing serious! I spent half the morning sitting on the platform waiting for the train ( proper one was cancelled ) of course that meant the next one was sardines… Soon be the weekend – I prescribe a holiday πŸ™‚

  4. I definitely think that a vacation should be in your near future! πŸ™‚ We all need them! We all need change once in awhile too though, just to remind us that we’re alive. I definitely get caught up in the daily routine to often, and I’m getting sick of it myself. πŸ™‚ It’s good to keep life fresh and spontaneous! Hope the blood tests come out fine.

  5. Vix:
You will be fine…I will do my usual worrying for you. I am the wimp about such things.
After you get the good news from the Doctor, I feel the best follow-up medication is a pair of black—high heels. I won’t push a style, but if you want to really set off those studs…that’s the pill to take.
    Will think of you
    hugs and wishes
    Jaye xoxo

  6. Aww Vicky! So Sorry you haven’t been feeling well. I can relate. Hopefully everything is ok. I’m not a dr. but I was feeling a bit like that and my vitamin D levels were low, nothing an extra vitamin couldn’t fix and I really started to feel some energy kick back in. I think you are already on the way to recovery since there is nothing a little sparkle can’t fix πŸ˜‰ Chin up, if it wasn’t for rain, there wouldn’t be rainbows!!

  7. I’m thinking I need to have my blood checked out too. I am exhausted all the time!!! Caffine or not! I’ll be curious to hear what the explanation is… Feel better love!

  8. Was raining all day long here… pretty badly. I hope your blood results come out good and that you really are only tired by commuting…
    Diamond studs… lucky you!

  9. Gosh, I hate, hate, hate getting blood taken. I hope all your tests come out okay. Hang in there!!! And awesome about the diamond stud earrings!! I love jewelry and that’s something I actually don’t own. Love yourself and take life one day at a time. πŸ™‚

  10. Hope everything turns out well with your tests. Also, rain boots and a hot pink umbrella πŸ˜› jk. Maybe you will have some sunny weather in the future, and when I mean future I mean like now! But its probably dark >.< Hang in there! I will send you some sunshine from the South πŸ˜›
