Snow, sniffles and a bit of sparkle

This weekend we had our first snow fall of the year. It was a light dusting but as usual everything turned to chaos. I made sure I stayed in the warm though as I caught a cold and couldn’t face playing in the snow. I did go out Saturday morning whilst it was still sunny to cheer myself up and ended up with some sparkle because I’m worth it!….

I spent some time revising my manuscript. I want to develop some parts before I submit it again and I’m actually quite excited about the improvements I have in mind. I just hope this cold goes quicklyΒ so I can crack on with it!

I also watched “Crazy, Stupid, Love”, which I really enjoyed – it’s funny and romantic and cemented my girl crush on Emma Stone.

What did you guys get up to?

Victoria

  1. Nice necklace!

We’re both suffering through colds. As of last night, mine has officially added a cough to the fun. I hope you feel better soon.

I mostly stayed home. My in laws visited. I cooked lasagna. I went out to lunch yesterday. Did chores. Wrote. Did a lot of school work.

  2. Beautiful necklace!!!
I got to work all weekend. Though, I work in a bookstore, so it doesn’t feel like “work.” You know what I mean? My relaxing and down time comes during the week since I’m so busy each weekend day. I hope to submit a short story to my publisher for publication, so we’ll see how that goes!! πŸ™‚ Woot!

  3. About that movie? LOVED it!

I got up to Ba.D. getting up early for a 6 a.m. call time, with my mind immediately returning to yesterday evening’s silly moments with Li’l D. A perfect way to start the day, that, even if I do soon have to meander toward work!
