My first pumpkin carving experience went like this:
The pumpkin BEFORE
So the pumpkin skin was tougher than I thought but I managed to get the top off and clear out the pretty gross insides. Harry was confused by the process.
I do not think I had the right knife. I blaming my tools! But I managed to carve a face. Possibly the happiest pumpkin in the world?
It took a few attempts (ahem) to light the tea lights inside and put the lid on without them extinguishing but hurrah it is lit!
Harry decided to help out and give me a scary pose to compensate for the too-happy pumpkin.
He then agreed to pose with the pumpkin and candles to create a pumpkin display. He’s still there. (just kidding!)
The pumpkin AFTER (poor thing). The moral of the story is I need some more practice at pumpkin carving.
