It’s publication day for my new book Picnics and Promises at Strawberry Fields! Grab your copy in eBook, audio or paperback HERE!

I loved writing about Birch Tree Farm in Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow. Willow and Dylan along with dog Maple and the quirky small town of Birchbrook quickly felt like real people and a real place that I wanted to spend more time with. So, here we are back on the farm but this time it’s spring / summer and Willow’s cousin Daisy has fled the altar seeking sanctuary in Birchbrook. Daisy has had a troubled time since losing her parents and thought she’d found a secure future with groom-to-be Henry but she realised at their wedding that they don’t really love each other. When Dylan’s friend Blake arrives on the farm also seeking statuary after his girlfriend broke his heart, he and Daisy are thrown together and help out as the farm gets ready for the strawberry picking season.
But in a plot twist I loved writing, their exes show up and think they are dating. So, what do they do? They fake it!

This book has some of my favourite tropes to both read and write – a runaway bride, fake dating, second chances and a slow burn romance! So, I hope that you also enjoy returning to our favourite small town and farm, and that this summer feel-good romance with a sprinkle of spice can cheer up this bleak January and put a smile on your face! I definitely finished writing it feeling happy so I want you all to feel that too. Let me know on social media if you enjoy this story and tag me when you get your copies so I can share your posts!
Thank you for choosing to return to Birch Tree Farm and I’ll let you in on a secret: we will be back for a third visit in August. I’m so excited to be writing a festive book set there – Hope and Hot Chocolate at Mistletoe Lane!
